La noche del 28 de junio de 1918 acaece en Las Palmas de Gran Canaria un suceso que conmueve a la ciudad: el Teatro Pérez Galdós, ejemplo de crecimiento urbanístico y cultural de principios del siglo XX, es devastado por las llamas.
"La noche de fuego" tiene como telón de fondo este acontecimiento histórico, a partir del cual se vertebra una trama en la que sobresalen la aventura y el misterio, hasta la resolución final, sorprendente –y siempre ficticia–, de quién fue el artífice del incendio.
The night of 28 June 1918 an incident shakes the city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The Pérez Galdós Theatre, icon of the cultural and urban growth of the beginning of the 20th century, is devastated by the fire.
This historical event is the core of "The Night of Fire", from which a plot of adventures and mystery is developed, up to its final resolution surprising –but fictitious as well– in which the author of the fire is unveiled.
